 Laughter Yoga is the coming together of two distinct practices – It could probably be called the happy marriage of Group Laughter, devised by Dr. Madan Kataria and Yogic breathing practices, formulated by Madhuri Kataria. Indeed this is one successful partnership that has weathered the pangs of birthing a worldwide movement that has brought joy and happiness to millions all over the world.Madhuri Kataria along with her husband Dr. Madan Kataria is the Co- Founder of the Laughter Yoga Clubs movement. A keen student and proponent of Yoga, her presence has been a significant contributor to the growth of the Laughter Yoga movement. At present there are more than 5000 Laughter Clubs in India, USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Portugal, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Israel, Hong Kong and Vietnam. This innovative concept has been widely accepted all over the world and appeared in prestigious publications like TIME Magazine, National Geographic, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Daily Telegraph (UK) and many others. Laughter Clubs were also featured on BBC, CNN, NHK (Japan), ABC (USA) and many other television networks all over the world. Today Madhuri Kataria travels around the world with Dr. Kataria as an equal partner shouldering the responsibility and sharing the joyful task of spreading the laughter virus.
